Cross-Cultural Interaction

My class on culture (Cross-Cultural Skills and Understanding) has been very interesting. It's a great topic. But it's weird-- it simultaneously makes me wiser about how to deal with miscommunications, and also more freaked out because I'm confronted with their inevitability.

It feels pretty risky to go into a setting where I know I will be misunderstood and won't know how to understand.
